Having a band with only thin and/or fit people makes you guys look like a bunch of yuppie douches. Having a fat guy brings realism and honesty to the band. Those elements are needed for fans to make insightful and critical thoughts on your music.
I know a lot of the band's friends are really big fans of the critically acclaimed televison series Battlestar Galactica. Since the fourth and final season is approaching in a few months, I suggest the band writes a song about it.
