John Corzine- Guitar.

John Corzine might be a familiar name to some in southern California bluegrass circles, having grown up in the area’s festivals and contests and playing with some of the region’s finest bands. A flatpicker inspired by the likes of Doc Watson and Clarence White, John spent his early years in guitar competitions from San Diego to Santa Barbara, and later married his high school sweetheart and singing companion, Peggy Odom. John and Peggy performed together in clubs, house concerts and festivals in several trio and band configurations, and recorded several signature songs on their Blossom Bar recording, “the Bramble and the Rose” released in 1980. John and Peggy spent a few years playing outside, acoustic bluegrass (“combat picking”) as Disneyland’s Pinewood Pickers, and then formed the Coyote Brothers band with Tom Sauber and Walden Dahl. At the same time, they satisfied their love for country music as honky-tonk Hearts of the West, and continued to perform right up until John’s “real life” job took them from the SoCal music scene. John and his family spent several years in Fort Worth, Texas, and several more in Portland, Oregon, but in 2006 returned home to southern California with renewed enthusiasm for old-time and bluegrass music. John joined the BladeRunners in 2007, and adds his guitar and baritone vocals to the texture of the band’s established sound.

Danny Connelly- Bass.

Connelly traveled extensively throughout the United States and 18 foreign countries to provide entertainment to the U.S. troops and dignitaries stationed throughout the globe. As a Marine Field Musician he played upright bass, electric bass, and tuba in a variety of ensembles which included a Ceremonial Marching Band, a 21 piece big band, a jazz combo, a brass quintet, a top 40’s group and a Dixieland band. In April of 2001, Master Sergeant Connelly retired as the Drum Major of the Third Marine Aircraft Wing Band stationed out of Miramar, California, with 21 years of service to our country and the United States Marine Corps. Musical influences include his father, Bob Connelly and the following musicians and educators: Bob Seering, Dewey Roseman, Norm Hinkley, Dave Gardner, Ike Smith, LtCol Clyde Croswell, Don MacLean, Pat Stowers and the “Colonel” David Dickey II. Connelly plays bass and fronts the band for The BladeRunners.

Patrick Sauber- Banjo.

The much sought after, highly respected son of Old Time Banjo and Fiddle master Tom Sauber, Sauber electrifies audiences with his brand of high energy-note perfect-risk taking improvisational wisdom on whatever it might be that he is playing at the time. His exceptional sense of the desirable musical attributes, (taste, tone, timing) make his caliber and vintage scarce in the area. Sauber has performed or recorded with Doc Watson, Curly Seckler, Dan Crary, Herb Pederson, Bill Bryson, Skip Gorman, Steve Spurgin, John Moore, The Fabulous Limeliters, The F-150's, Cliff Wagner & the Old No.7, The Brombies, Uncle Earl, Sheri Lee & Blue Heart, Silverado, The BladeRunners (last time around), and with "A Mighty Wind", has a film credit as well. Sauber plays banjo and is the tenor vocalist for The BladeRunners.

David Dickey III- Mandolin.

Born into Bluegrass via Lost Highway veteran mandolinist, songwriter, and vocalist David Dickey II, Dickey III ventured into the music at age 15 joining David Dickey & the Slover Mt. Boys on bass. Since then, Dickey has played mandolin and/or banjo for In the Company's theater productions of "Oklahoma!", "The Singer", "The Cotton Patch Gospel", and, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". He has played guitar and led worship for church services, home bible studies, fellowship groups, weddings, and a baptism. Dickey has performed with The Shankman Twins, Julie Wingfield, Chris Stuart & Backcountry, The Mill Creek Boys (Dickey II's current band), The G-Men, HWY 52, Buddy Reed & the Rip It Ups, Mohave County, The Grove Community Church Worship Team, and Nickel Creek. Okay, not Nickel Creek, that was a dream. Dickey plays mandolin and is one of the lead and baritone vocalists for The BladeRunners.

Hey there RBB Friend!

Can you believe it? We're finally taking pre-release orders on RoseBud Blue's debut album, "Depending on the Glass"! ... You may be asking yourself, "why do I need to get my copy of this hot new album now, a couple of weeks before it's actually out??" Well friends, let me tell you...pre-release sales will not only be delivered to your very own doorstep the day it is out in June but your rockin' package (addressed, licked and sealed by the girls themselves!) will also include an autographed picture of the RBB girls!

As you can imagine, we are very excited about completing this album and know that we couldn’t have done it with out all of the support we received along the way. We sincerely want to thank you for being a part of our journey.

So, head on over to RoseBudBlue. com and pick up your very own copy today...before it becomes the “cool” thing to do.
