i was totally totally crunk last night, too crunk in fact to even attempt the after party. but it was a great night, a great show, thanks for all the wonderful music and memories <3
Thanks rockers! :) Crowd surfing, head banging, speaker jumping, stage hugging, spat happy, pigtail slinging rocker, Kimberly (One Eyed Doll) brings her passion to the White Rabbit stage this Thurs nite! Doors @ 8pm with PunkSKAteers hitting the stage around 9:30 and One Eyed Doll right after.
I can say I was there at the inception of what was to become The Blend. It was in a candle lit smoke filled room out in Helotes. We sat atop milk crates and gym equipment and left the world outside behind while riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. I laid down a metal inspired riff while Trav kept the perfect rhythm and constructed all my riffige into tunage. Marc led the way with fearless solos seeking out the scales to fit his mood and not the other way around. After moving away the songs about home mean so much more to me. Now as The Blend comes to an end I’m bummed but I know with the right type of eyes one can look to the south and see the High water mark that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back. – Al (with inspiration from the good Dr.Thompson)
