The Blitters have been tearing up stages across the UK for well over a year now. The band updates the harsh beats of Suicide with the industrial squall of Big Black and a dash of playful electronic experimentation, reminiscent of Add n to (x). At the heart of the band's current incarnation as a duo is the proverbial ying and yang - Blitters brainchild Allen Zuk bursts with fervor, a blend of unabashed punk rock confrontation and uncanny kid's entertainer. His theatrical playfulness is reeled in by the stoic poker face of Essex scene mainstay Staff Glover. Head down, back to the crowd, on stage Staff's purpose is to make the venue windows rattle and tune in the crowd's digestive systems to Blitters FM. With Mr Glover in place to anchor Allen's fanciful use of 'brain matter', jelly and silly string the Blitters offer up a great spectacle and kick ass tunes to boot.
