About the Blockheads

The blockheads were a punk rock band out of San Diego, California. The band was founded in the late 90s by the same original members that ended the band in early 2002. The band independently recorded & released an eleven track full-length CD titled Braindead in late 2001. Each individual copy was hand numbered & are currently out of print.
Having only released one full-length, the Blockheads eventually disbanded & formed various punk rock projects in which some have gone & some remain today.

Upon the bands final call, Mike & Kyle quickly founded Have You Seen Her & the Special Guest in 2002. Both bands were short-lived and are no longer active.

Kyle went on to help form defunct act the BuRbs & formed the Rich White Males which consistently play live throughout San Diego.

Jeff & Mike collaborated in mid-2004 and founded the Generics. The band has been busy working on a debut full-length release with Bice from Even In Blackouts.

Most recently, Mike & Kyle formed a new project called Idiot Box. The band is currently working on demo material for a release later this year.
