About The Bloodletting

What happens when you get a group of guys living on an island in the middle of nowhere who all love metal? The Bloodletting. Hailing from Sydney, Nova Scotia, this quintet of headbangers comes from a very diverse musical background. Ascending from the ashes of a broken Cape Breton music scene, former punk and metal bands have joined forces to create a new-wave sound influenced by thrash, melodic death and black metal that's sure to blow your balls off. A mixture of hard hitting thrashy riffs, thundering bass and tight drumming form the foundation of the band's gripping sound, while hot licks, blistering solo's and dynamic vocals lead the way into a new breed of destructive metal.
