Sounds Like
The Blues, Punk and ol' fashioned Rock n' Roll put in a blender on pulse for 2 seconds flat.
THE BLOODY 9'S formed in December, '06, as a side project of 3 great local bands from different sides of the musical universe, Freewheelin', Earthbound Shakedown, and Too Many Chiefs. They quickly fed off each other's influence to form their distinct sound, sometimes described as, "Punk-a-Blues", but mostly undescribed. Every fan seems to have a differnet take on the sound. The 9's wrote and recorded their first album within 7 months, and, shortly thereafter released, "LUCIFER'S BLUES" under the TooManyRecords label. You can hear more, as well as buy it at CD Baby or on iTunes and most other internet music outlets.
Check back here, routinely, to see when the next shows are, and what's going on with the Bloody 9's!
We appreciate all of our fan support! Hope to see you at the next show!
