THE BLOX are six dedicated geezers who have got together to recreate the music of Ian Dury and The Blockheads. Music which is comprised of elements of funk, jazz, blues, reggae, even vaudeville. Music which is topped with the comedic lyrics and poetry of that cheeky chappie the late great Ian Dury, affectionately known as "Uncle Ian".
THE BLOX were formed in 1999 by bass player Norman Watt-Not.

Hiya Naut :) I was listening a few days back to that Lorna Bennett and Scotty recording of Breakfast in Bed.. I remember when you sent that to me, I had never really heard too much toasting or anything and just didn't get the humour of it at the time. This time I was crackin up listening :) Also I was tryin to find some of the tunes you had sent but since I don't use that old email much anymore at one point I found that my saved folders were all deleted.. I would love to hear that version of Nice Time, by Courtney Pine.. Maybe play it for mi youthman.. might be a good collab for us :) Hope you are well!
