| About The Blue Clay |
The idea to start Blue Clay on was a range of acoustic performances by Wout and Roscoe from the Dutch bluesgroup The Ditch Divers at the end of 2006 and the beginning of 2007. Sometimes they were assisted by accordeonplayer Hans van der Werf from the folkrockformation The Old Firm.
The Blue Clay is a mix of old blues- and folktraditionals varied with bluegrass-and hillbillysongs and some zydeco partynummers. Blue Clay plays also songs who are written from within the group.
