Above is the cover for our only actual single so far, coming after the half-assed almost release of our original live single, Live and Dangerous. It features the eponymous track, originally mixed by Will Pucci for his solo work and the tracks originally intended to feature on Live and Dangerous. On the cover in the bottom right-hand corner is the DJE logo. DJE are our independent media label that is used for a variety of purposes by us, including self release works and the distribution of other independently produced media that needs to be out there.
Influences
Chumbawamba, The Clash, The Distillers, Jonti Picking, Monty Python, Danbert Nobacon, Arctic Monkeys, even though we sound nothing like any of these artists/bands [except possibly a tiny bit of resemblance to acoustic Chumbawamba], Tripod, DEVO, Madness.
Sounds Like
A tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny bit like Acoustic Chumbawamba, mainly cause Will likes doing covers of their songs. When we're doing originals we try to sound like Tripod and fail miserably.
The cover for our never released intended debut single, Live and Dangerous. It featured two tracks recorded live by us at our school's battle of the bands and a third, entitled Paranoid Man, which we hope will never see the light of day until we re-tool it majorly.
The Blue Ducks were formed when the key members of bands such as The Rolling Stones, Reverie Sound Revue, The KLF, Led Zeppelin, The Sex Pistols, Madness, The Who, L7, The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, The Justified Anicents of Mu Mu, The Rubions, Black Sabbath, ? & the Mysterians and Raw Sex came together for a special musical project: To sue two young bootleggers from the regional city of Ballarat. The two boys lost the lawsuit of course and were forced as their punishment to form the worst band in the history of music.... THE BLUE DUCKS!!!!!!!
OR THE 'TRUE' HISTORY:
Stuart Kerr [aka: Crow, Tracer, SMK, It, Him] was asked by Will Pucci [aka: The Blue Duck, Kipuka, Pooky] to perform with him in their school's battle of the bands competition. They performed two songs by Chumbawamba [one a strong and eventually violent, anti-nazi song that had the crowd clapping along, and Heaven/Hell, to which they were ironically ambivalent: playing now] and had planned to do a third, Bankrobber, but some mis-communication prevented this obvious disaster. Thus were The Blue Ducks born, from these humble beginnings at their first performance, they went on to write a lot of material that at the time of writing still hasn't been used. They will get competent soon though, we promise.

William Pucci, mother of the species:
William Pucci is the vocalist of The Blue Ducks and known for his insane raging screams at the beginning of sets and odd costumes. He is an anarcho-punk with very radical ideas about society. He is however, a big softy and loves romantic poetry and sewing bags from scratch. He paints, draws and scribbles in various sketchbooks and has recently tried his hand at spraypainting stencils with some success. He is not a particularly talented musician but pretends he is so.
Sam Clarke, brother of unnecesary serial names:
Sam Clarke, in a way, manages the band [although Will gets all their gigs]. He helps out a bit with recording, owns all our equipment and is a general multi-purpose helper for most problems. He plays guitar/bass and wishes to bring a bass into The Blue Ducks in the future, to maybe add some musical depth. He likes alternative/rock [I assume, I didn't actually ask before writing this profile] and is pretty enterprising. He co-manages The Blue Ducks' management company, Bar-Code Artists and is an employee of the Indymedia collective Deepest Jungle Enterprises. Sam is currently on a short-term hiatus (Roughly ten weeks from 17/04/07) due to a lengthy school program on King Island. If you absolutely NEED to get in touch with him, we'll see what we can do! ;)

Stuart Kerr was the backup vocalist from 2006 to 2007 and renowned for his bizarre dancing onstage. He would cover Will's lack of talent and indeed his own through antics and erratic, sometimes harmful singing styles. He likes cats, computers and fantasy novels. He has recently left The Blue Ducks for reasons he is yet to disclose
