T'is true, The Blue Lantern was founded in the year 2000 by one Neal Thompson and his friend Laura (that bitch from mooi). Giving the good folk of Wrexham a chance to show off their song-writing skills to peers and perfect strangers. Over the years many stars have come and gone but the lantern still burns bright. Come along, bring your prefered instrument and show us what you've got.
We've given the set up a spruce. You can now find us upstairs in Yales, in the nice bar with the domed ceiling. We even have a little stage with monitors, and sofas, candles etc for your seating pleasure. It's better than it's ever been. Still every Monday and entry is £2. Get involved!

Laura I really thought it would last forever...I wish I could come but I'm doing a gig in London that night, and as a result I'm missing out big time. It's unlikely I'd be doing this gig if you hadn't 'got me into this stupid game' like Salad said, so in a bit of a twisted way you're partly responsible for that. Hope you can remember enough songs, you're going to get loads of encores you know. Demand free wine too. And bring the raffle back (for old time's sake - I'll send you up a hat) Hopefully we'll come and see you at Christmas time. Paul xx
