About The Blue Moon Project

The Blue Moon Project is 5 piece Rock and Roll band that started in April of 2006. Pudge and Iggy picked out some players that all had one thing in mind. "Have fun and throw some good parties" That is what we do. Indulging our inner Rock geek while trying to lay down some grooves for the crowd. We play out just about once a month so we hope to see you soon.

Matt was at Mary's last New Year's Eve having a great time with his friends and then later on that night he tragically passed away at home. Brown was a huge supporter of live music and loved watching his friends play music maybe more than anything. Matt was a regular down at Mary's who will be greatly missed by friends and family. Local jam-band, Vista Cruiser, has developed a serious reputation for putting together a live show where everyone has a Jerry good time! The Blue Moon Project is easily one of Rockford's best jam bands. This special event brings The Blue Moon Project to Rockford's oldest bar for their first appearance ever on the Mary's live scene! Local reggae sensations, The Reggie, have rocketed to the absolute top of Rockford's live music scene. The group has a serious reputation for creating explosive reggae dance parties.! Vista Cruiser, The Blue Moon Project, and The Reggie play the feel-good hits that will put a smile on your face and warm your heart... feel the love. Musical Guests: Lucy Parks Grass Band, Vista Cruiser, Forest City Ramblers, The Reggie, and The Leafrakers. More bands may come - site will be updated - stay tuned. Food, beer, camping area, and a kids area with activities will be provided. Bring a tent - don't drive drunk! If you can, bring food to pass - potluck style. Who knows how long the beer will last, so you may want to bring some of your own. Bring hand drums and other instruments - we will have drum circles / jam sessions between sets, and after the show. There will be a bonfire, so bring wood if you have it. Admission is free, we will be taking donations to help support the family. Dig deep and give freely, every little bit adds up and is greatly appreciated. Come celebrate the life of a good man. For those unable to attend, but who would like to make a donation, make checks payable to Jen Patterson and send to 8472 Starwood Drive, Fenton, MI 48430.
