You know how there are a few bands that just sound, well, different compared to their contemporaries? There are quite a few in the pop-rock genre (The Audition comes to mind). I can't put my finger on it, but there's just something about The Blue Pages that make them stand out from the hordes of pop-rock bands pining to steal thirteen year old girls' hearts.-Absolutepunk.net
The Blue Pages, a local band that has a hip, Fall Out Boy look and a sound to match. We'd say this act sets itself apart from the many other punk-pop bands on the scene because of the pleasantly dramatic and soothing vocal stylings of Zac Barnett. We're willing bet that he was in choir in high school.-The Boston Globe
To varying degrees, "Surrounded by Wolves" encapsulates a self-indulgent melodrama that's too hooky ignore and too catchy to deny.
