   About The Blue Pill
The Blue Pill is a classic rock cover band, playing a wide variety of well-known radio classics. The lineup of the band is a trio that also plays together in several other Grand Rapids area bands: The Red Pill, Scatterdome, The Insane Theatre, Headlight (formerly Gruv Unit), and Black Rose & The Disciples of Funk. The band performs tunes from the band members' favorite artists, including The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Police, Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, Neil Young, and many more! The Blue Pill can be counted on to rock out familiar hits from the catalogs of rock music's most enduring artists, to provide accessible (yet psychedelic) entertainment for everyone, including those who may not be ready to take The Red Pill and become unplugged from The Matrix. Since posting covers is not allowed on MySpace, we have posted some mp3s of The Blue Pill at the following link: www.scatterdome.com/mp3s.htm OurMySpace Layout was created by using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM's MySpace Profile Editor!

New Speedway Boogie Music Festival is a brand new music festival being hosted by two fellers from the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based band, The Lighthouse Commission: John Wenger and Kevin Grant. John knew the feller who owned the speedway; and Kevin knew about a bunch of folks in a bunch of cool bands; and together they said, "Hey! Let's get all of our buddies in bands together and have a big hoorah to welcome in Summer!" Co-headlining this festival will be Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, a top-notch, booty-shaking jam band from Big Rapids, and The T-Lo Effect, a sweet progressive rock outfit with jazzy influences from Kalamazoo. Also appearing will be The Lighthouse Commission, Mystic Dub, Paucity, Sprout and The Rusty Thimbles. It's an all ages event. You can camp out in the parking lot! You can bring in up to a 12" X 12" cooler; but no glass, please. We have to be mindful of the youngsters! The intent is to create an alternative-minded festival in a relaxed environment.
