After a well deserved break from 6 years of touring and recording, The Blues Bombers are back with a recharged vision and a new album on the way. During their 2 month sebatical, they have recruited top gun drummer Ron"the lightning"Bult to their line up, adding a fresh and dynamic lift to their already thunderous sound and presence.
The last 6 years of constant gigs and touring have cemented a unique style to The Blues Bombers which is unmistakebly their own. Some of the highlights of their career have been festivals such as The Gympie Muster, The Great Southern Blues and Rockabilly Festival, The Launceston Blues Festival and also sharing the stage with Chain, The Detonators and the king of Australian music, Jimmy Barnes. The Bombers are also regular favourites at The Telstra Country Music Festival in Tamworth.
The flavour of the band is a culmination of jump blues, swing, rock'n'roll and swamp, mixed with their own brand of songwriting, The Blues Bombers always deliver a diverse and explosive show leaving crowds always wanting more.
You can look foward to a new album released in early 2010 with a heap of brand new tracks and a fresh and dynamic sound.
