The Australian Folk and Roots scene has exploded in recent years with bands such as The Detonators, Johnny Greens Blues Cowboys, The Red Hot Poker Dots, and The Re-mains packing dancehalls, festivals, and public houses all over the country. Joining these hard touring, hard living musicians, direct from the mangrove swamps of Steel City Newcastle comes the Blues Bombers. Conjured up with some serious coal-face voodoo by Australia's giant of the Boogie Bass 'Gravelmouth' Mick King Jr, the bombers feature the best swing.blues.swamp.rock'n'roll musicians in the country. Josh 'fingers' Callaway on keys, "Killer" on guitar & Kerry Miller on drums. The unmistakable vocals and genuine musicianship of the Blues Bombers provides the authentic howling sound of a thousand Bayou thunderstorms.

The success of their debut album 'Live From The Wickham Park Hotel' led to the current studio project of a full length album due out late 2007.
