My name is Josh and I enjoy playing music. i mainly play the fiddle, but also guitar and banjo...and sometimes mandolin and bass. All kinds of music from old time to jazz. I like Hank... I love square dancing and pretending to clog. I go to Weiser fiddle festival every year in Weiser, Idaho. I learned to play old time from the family and friends I have acquired in Portland, Oregon. Two of my favorite pastimes are playing for square dances and busking on random street corners throughout the world.
-I played fiddle and toured with the San Fransisco based old time band, "The Crooked Jades", during the summer of 2007 (crookedjades.com).

I'm currently in two working bands: The Water Tower Stringband,
and The Panthercaps!- LETS PICK!
My name is Tyler Macklin and I represent the 20-Acre Venue Project; a community-run venue established for the soul purpose of helping you express yourself!
I recently met with local land-owner Brad Mowreader and we negotiated the use of
20 acres of PRISTINE and GEORGEOUS forest land
that Brad owns close to Dexter Park off of Hwy 58. We are turning the land into a
CAMPSITE/SMALL GATHERING AND MUSIC VENUE TO SUPPORT CHARITY.
Do you have expression? Do you want a place to showcase it? Are you willing to work for it?

Mount Airy and Clifftop are the best. Try all your might to make it, they're reallllly awesome. That Brown's Dream is from the Roan Mountain Hilltoppers. I would really to make out in time for the Gathering. Do you know the exact dates? My plan is to probably fly out the 4th or 5th and stay the whole month, and then some(maybe).
My dad's planning a little tour out that way in November and I'll be back in January for a good long visit, so you won't have to wait very long...
I was totally into the Multi Greens and Gingerade. Oh, and I also found out why they are so addictive....... there's caffeine in it. It doesn't say it on the bottle but my sister, who also drinks them religiously, went on the website to look it up...
Hey Josh! YEah Pickathong was totally awesome - you're really rockin' on the fiddle! I'm super stoked about the Aug 31st show at the Tractor in Seattle, let me know if you all need somewheres to crash...
Also, lovely songs on this page, I hadn't heard any of your orignal stuff b4. ~Charmaine
