"Synths, drum machines and fresh faces from Brighton, all in the cause of fusing electro pop blips with indie beats on some strangely rhythmic three minute slices. Primal Depeche meets The Killers in a dark alley with stories of loves lost and many strange friends."
Q Music, February 2009
"This Brighton based four-piece specialise in making uplifting electro-indie pop music to warm your soul and soothe those winter blues. With influences including The Postal Service, Air and Boards Of Canada, the band’s unique blend of live instrumentation and lo-fi Atari style synthesisers is as laid back as it is stirring...In a nutshell, this is simple, beautiful pop music. Not the kind of soulless, disposable, spawn-of-the-devil rubbish that gets pumped through the tv. Maybe there is hope for pop yet."
XYZ Magazine, January 2009
"Brighton based The Blueskies have put together a demo EP so skillfully produced it puts many an acts finished products to shame...Each track is instantly affecting, irresistably catchy and oddly uplifting despite the sometimes dark lyrical content."
Latest 7 Magazine, 2008
"The Blueskies' blend of upbeat electro-driven indie-pop jumped out at us on first listen of this track...This hints at a band with a knack for sharp songwriting and an ear for a catchy tune, so it's little wonder that label interest is building nicely."
