About me:

Blues on the Grand is the home of the Blues in Des Moines, Iowa. It’s a unique combination of location, staff, customers and great owners. The club stage motto is “No Mustang Sally” (no offense to Sir Mack Rice) as original music is encouraged and cherished. The club books Blues music five or more nights a week and takes pride in a balance of national, local, and regional acts. In 2002, Blues On Grand received the Blues Foundation's Keeping The Blues Alive Award for best Blues club in the nation!

    Cool Dispositon seeks BLUES friends. What's the point in adding up a gazillion friends if only one in hundreds actually give a damn about the blues. We don't have any use for bimbo friends, college rock friends, metal head friends, porno friends, political or comedic friends. We want blues friends. We are an equal opportunity blues befriender. It doesn't matter if you dig Piedmont blues, jump blues, Texas blues,deep delta blues, Chicago blues, rock blues or even.... ahem.... "Mid-West Coast" blues, if its blues you should be a friend of Cool D.
