THE BLVD. SKATEBOARD CO. WAS NAMED AFTER THE SKATEBOARD VIDEO "THE BLVD." BY SKATEBOARDER/CINEMATOGRAPHER DANNY MINNICK. GOOD FRIENDS CHAD MUSKA AND BEN GAMBEL RECOMMENDED DANNY FOR THE JOB TO FILM THE SKATEBOARDING SEQUENCES FOR LARRY CLARK'S UP AND COMING FEATURE "WASSUP ROCKERS". THE BLVD. VIDEO LANDED ON THE HANDS OF LARRY CLARK, AND HE SHOWED IT TO THE CAST OF WASSUP ROCKERS AND THEY LOVED IS THEY GAVE HIM THE JOB FOR BEING THE SKATEBOARD CINEMATOGRAPHER. ON THE SET OF WASSUP ROCKERS, THE CAST AND DANNY BECAME REALLY GOOD FRIENDS AND AFTER THE MOVIE RAPPED THEY ALL STARTED FILMING/ SKATEBOARDING TOGETHER.
