'The Boardroom' is a studio where Producers,DJs, and Musicians collaborate.
The core of this collective is made up of executives and their respective artist names.
Steve Boardman co-produces with Rad Rice (Radical Majik), James Moss (E.S.C.), Dave Congreve (Con/Man), Tim Fairplay (Bored Play) plus various occasionals, Jon Vic (Board & Victorville) & Sidney Le Sarge (Le Sarge en Board).
When they all perform together they are called 'Boardroom live' (guitar, bass, drum-machines, decks & effects, vocals, synths and percussion).
They have performed at London's Fabric, Berlin's Panoramabar, Frankfurt's Robert Johnson and Copnhagen's Culturbox.
The Boardroom Centre of Operations is located within Andrew Weatherall's Rotters Golf Club Studios in Shoreditch.
Boardroom Artists have released one eight-track Album on Rotters Golf Club (RGCCD016), "Andrew Weatherall Vs The Boardroom", a collection of three Boardroom Artists tracks and their Weatherall remixes plus Boardroom Artists remixes of two Two Lone Swordsmen tunes.
The Press have been very kind in their admiration of the recording, rating it Album Of The Month in IDJ's Players Of The Year 2008 issue. Following this, The Boardroom was one of only five collectives featured in Mixmag's 'dance music collectives' article in their February issue, alongside Norman Cook's "Brighton Port Authority" as one of "the new supergroups".
Since April '07, The Boardroom have promoted regular events with guests including Andrew Weatherall, Craig Richards, Keith Tenniswood & Rob Mello. Since January 09, The Boardroom has hosted monthly sessions (The Agenda) @ East Village - future guest DJs include Justin Robertson, Leftfield’s Paul Daley and The Orb’s Alex Patterson.
Weatherall has co-written and recorded his debut solo work 'The Bullet-Catcher's Apprentice' and forthcoming album, 'Pox on The Pioneers', as well as remixing Primal Scream, David Holmes, Siouxsie Sioux, V.V. Brown, Manic Street Preachers, Black Lips & Fuck Buttons in The Boardroom with an executive.
The 2nd Volume of "Andrew Weatherall Vs The Boardroom", including new Boardroom Artists Tracks and their Weatherall remixes plus Boardroom Artists remixes of tracks from 'Pox on The Pioneers', is finished and scheduled for release.
You can listen to the ideas of Boardroom meetings here. When they are fully formed they will be released to prospective share holders.
If you want to get taste of their live experience, here is a free download link to a live gig from Copenhagen, in two parts.
Jon (Vick)torville co-produced the dutch smash 'Voodoz/Acid punch'. He then quit his job with Locked on records. He arrived in the Boardroom with the slamming numbers 'Chum' and 'Disciple' already in his briefcase. Hired on the spot.
Pete Laz(onb)y mastered the idle management method during a seven year hiatus in New Orleans. Known for the mid nineties classics 'Sacred Cycles' and 'Wavespeech', he was headhunted for the Boardroom by experts in the art of getting it to mean something.
Long time Techno general Rad Rice fought in the acid house trenches of 88. His strategic knowledge was needed to combat forces intent on making the party stop. After much structured debate of rAvEmEnT, he agreed on an executive position..
Techno wizzardry was needed for Live and studio weirdness. Timing, and technical ability to create structure from Chaos. James Moss of RaceTrax, 3 Decks, 909, and FX ,invested heavily and has become a leading executive of all Boardroom meetings.
Minimal in approach but futuristic by design . Dave Congreve brings the 1950's optimism to our future. Repeat Repeat, and redo it again, only better. This forward thinking techno world will take our strategy to a better place.
Sidney Le Sarge, the dub electro techno DJ linchpin, he is the conection needed to create the convergence that is The Boardroom. Without his cross style referencing there would be no collaboration.
Please don't try to make friends with The Boardroom as it is only a place for Boardroom co-operatives. Please make friends with Boardroom friends instead, subscribe to the blog, join our mailing list or join the Facebook group :

message for sid - sorry to hear about ur busy morning mate, i know how u feel tho cos last night after u went to bed i realised i'd forgot to hoover the siberian plains, but then i thought while i was there i might as well pop down and shine the great barrier reef, i mean i was still hungover but it came up nice. had to renovate the matchu pichu settlement in peru after that , but on my way back swimming across the atlantic, the water was really dirty, so i changed the water, whereupon i looked into the sky and to my disgust saw the star you were meant to polish this morning. so i had to miss my lunch hour, travel 500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 light years and do it my self. luckily i'd remembered my mr sheen i can tell ya.
was having my break after that, came back built a new house, invented a way for humans to fly, stumbled upon new technology that will revolutionise everything using thought control, when the mrs phoned and told me i'd forgot to give everest the once over, god how could i have been so forgetful? so did that, was quite tired by then, having not slept for 6 months on a bender. so i had a pint and came home. all before u'd even got up. slacker.
