Formed in 2003, the Bobbleheads, John Ashfield (guitar, vocals), Phil Bulan (drums, vocals), Pat Ennis (bass) have been delighting audiences with their songs of playful yet adult elementary-school infused pop. Their melodies will stick with you long after the song is over, but don't confuse catchy with kitschy. Their bottom line is held down by Phil's rock solid drumming and Pat's technically precise bass lines. John's lyrics reveal they are happy music geeks, making the perfect 3-minute song and having fun along the way. According to The Bobbleheads, the world isn't such a bad place after all.
In 2005 the band's CD Automatic Fun won the Out Music Award for Best New Recording.
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
