Biography
The Body Rampant is the music and vision of Jon Mathew Lopez.
Mixing experimental instrumentation with pop melodies, it's hard to place a specific genre on this fun new twist on modern music.

From the conception of life, we attach ourselves to a sound and vision we adore. Meaningless songs and tones with no reason, we finally attain something fitting.
Over the last 24 years, J.M. has been hopelessly devoting himself to the feeling and creation of music. Playing in several bands as a guitarist, he traveled the country numerous times and gained an addiction to life on the road.
Having settled down a bit, he focused on creating dark songs that described his life and experiences up to that point. With the help of a few friends, 4 song e.p 'Beast' was born and released online free of charge. Excited to keep the momentum flowing, TBR changed gears and entered the studio with producer Casey Bates to record the 'Framework' e.p. Performing all the instruments himself, the 3 songs are very stripped down and basic, hence the name.
The Body Rampant is eager to spread its wide range of musical styles across the world, and will spend most of 2010 touring the country in support of its releases.  |
