Sounds Like
The Kinks, The Bonzo's, Temperance Seven and The Alberts
The band formed in 1979, and split acrimoniously 8 months later in 1980 due to musical similarities and alcohol.
27 years later, in 2007, a chance meeting in a house of ill repute by Spike and Pipes Crippen led to a visit to the pub and an agreement to get the band back together. By this time most of them were out of rehab and/or prison and about skint enough to speak to one another again.
All original members of the band were invited back into the fold with the exception of those who had died as they needed to draw the line somewhere.
They reformed, had 3 rehearsals and put on a concert behind a local pub, The Robin Hood, and sold out, thus leading them to another rehearsal and some more gigs.
They have recently played The Monster Raving Loony Party Conference in Hook, Hampshire (Photo's on OMRLP web site) and have played with Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen on 2 occasions as well as playing numerous corporate and private functions.
The Bolivain Sunshine Dogs carry with them endless useless props, and are guaranteed to give you a good time, on and off stage.
They are available for festivals, universities and anywhere else that needs a laugh.
They have just secured a recording contract and will release a CD as soon as they can all remember to turn up to record it.
