The Bombettes formed in 2005 when Ellen, Maria and Chrystal after months of searching finally found a singer, Elin. Having some trouble keeping the band together in Umeå (and keeping the band healthy), effective rehearsal was not the characteristic of 2005. Still, we managed to get going, created a couple of hits and played a few shows during spring/summer 2006. Then Emma came into our lives.
In 2008 Emma left the band due to personal reasons. And Jenka Nilsson became, after months of searching, the new Bombette.
We have released two four track 7" and have conquered Germany, Spain and France during 2009. At the moment we are recording a full-length album which we are planning on releasing early 2010.
