Music moves me. I played piano as a kid (and guitar and drums and violin) but gave up in my teens (who knows why). I listen to music all the time, except when I'm writing. I'll watch action, chick flicks, foreign, children's, anime, musicals, comedy, or film noir. Old or new, I like all movies, even the pathetically bad ones. About me:
My name is Elisabeth Squires and I am the Boob Lady. I'm the mother of three and the daughter of a breast-cancer survivor. My mission is to get women to appreciate their breasts, to learn more about them and be comfortable with them. Over the years I've written stories and observations about my own breasts, about how they, and my attitudes toward them, have changed throughout my life. When I encouraged my friends to do the same, I found they had similar stories to tell. Some loved their breasts while others found them awkward, uncomfortable and even embarrassing. These "mammoirs" have formed the basis for my book bOObs: A Guide to Your Girls. It includes advice from experts (doctors, lingerie fitters, trainers, etc.) on how to put your "best breast forward" at every stage of your life. The Library Journal named bOObs one of the best health books of 2007! I'm now working on a second book for young girls, ages 8-14.
