Store Policies
OUR BOOKS are arranged according to fiction category or non-fiction subject matter. All fiction is filed alphabetically by the authors last name within each category. All merchandise is 50% of the cover price UNLESS it is marked otherwise.
WE ACCEPT most paperback and hardback books, college and home schooling text books, study guides, work books if they are deemed sellable, videos & DVDs in original boxes unless it was a rental copy, and, CDs if they have no scratches and are in a unbroken jewel case with original artwork.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT comic books, Readers Digest condensed fiction, USED study guides, work books, lab manuals, ADULT books or videos, previously-issued school texts, computer software, video games, magazines and journals, incomplete book sets, older Harlequin or Harlequin Presents, books in poor condition or any item we believe we cannot sell.
TRADING: Store credit is issued for items you wish to trade with us. These slips are kept on file in the store and have NO expiration date. Once you accept the credit slip for your merchandise that credit cannot be changed and merchandise becomes store property. If your credit exceeds the amount of your purchase it will stay on file with us for future purchases, no cash will be given as change.
YOU MAY use your store credit for any item in the store with the exception comic books and items marked "SP" or "Special Purchase" .
LIMITS on incoming items: If you bring in more than we can process at the incoming desk in a reasonable amount of time, we will ask you to leave them as a large order and pick up later in the day or the next day.
SELLING: You may be able to get store credit for the items that meet our resale guidelines or a smaller percentage in cash. The trade percentages are a percentage of our intended selling price for each item. You can generally expect up to 35% of the selling price for most items and cash value, when offered, is up to 25% of that credit. We buy until one hour before close each night.
The amount we offer for merchandise, in cash or credit, is NOT negotiable. Prices and policies are subject to change any time
