The Boom!Cans began as a joke under the name Gutslice... but then we started writing some half decent music and while drinking lots of Oranjeboom decided to change our name. We enjoy playing live and always have alot of fun. Maybe one day we'll make an effort to do this more often when we have less geographical differences.
Reviews
AQA - "AQA likes The Boom!Cans. Their take on emotive post-hardcore is efficient and effective, while distancing themselves from the genre's big hitters.

Here is a video of a song we have long since stopped playing... unfortunately we have no other videos to show you...
Please will you and your fellow MySpace friends listen to some songs I have written and recorded? I have posted them to my profile at www. myspace. com/benschrecker.
They took me ages and ages.
I did them all by myself, apart from the violins which Peter Ashton did, and the saxophone which Diane Hammond did for me. Oh, and Jed Skinner plays some drums. And the organ.
If you really like them, please could you listen to them again?
Haha nah you guys are a proper band. You should try and get down south at some point, you could play The Square in Harlow, Essex...some amazing bands have played there in the past.

Well actually, it all depends on whether Josh can come out here at the end of March. I can only come to your gigs if he can't. I need to use my days off wisely.
I miss you boys xxx
Hello. I am seriously looking into coming back for your gig at the Packhorse on the 9th of March. I may even be able to stick around til the one on the 12th. We shall see. I can get cheapish flights to Manchester.
We shall see! xxx
