About The Boomers

The Boomers is a Murfreesboro, TN area based Blues and Blues/Rock band. As we are baby boomers, hence the name. We are five guys from five different walks of life, yet with the common love of playing music. Some think because you're our age with busy careers and families, that the whole "being-in-a-band-thing" should be part of your past. No way! Not here. We make time, because we love it. Use it or lose it. While the band was originally formed a couple of years ago to keep us playing and do a gig here and there, we have been blessed lately with a loyal following in the area. So this site is here for you, our friends, to keep abreast of our happenings. Hope to see you soon!
