They are as comfortable as an old pair of slippers, but far more fashionable. They pretend to be nothing more than they are; a mixture of age and beauty, experience and enthusiasm. They deliver a wide and varied selection of covers to the best of their ability and will often get them right. A spokesman for the band was quoted as saying: "Wow they’re awesome dude!" Sadly he is now back under sedation and restraint but remains comfortable. There have been a few changes to both their stage clothing and to the original line up. Some members had in earlier bands been famous for five minutes. To name but none. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... .......... .. .. .. .. .. CLASSIC BOOZE BROS -

.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... .......... Jim Foreman; the Lead Guitarist he is. Ex. Hector, The Rams, Club 99 and occasional member of Ready Steady Wash & Go. Collector of Guitars, some he even paid for. Seemingly ageless, he remains attractive to woman, men and gets the occasional duck. Gary Smith Crash Bang Wallop, Bish-Bash-Bosh. Guess what Gary does in the band? Ex. Geneva, ex. Patriot, ex cuseme, ex cellent drummer. Still has one foot stuck in the Prog-Rock past however, which can make walking a little difficult at times. Dean Hobby he’s the “Ba Bah Ba BB BB B” Mr. Bass Man. Son of the original drummer Ex. Mother, ex. School, ex. College, ex Ceptional. Good sense of humour and really works up a sweat, both of which are extremely unusual characteristics for a bass player. Keith Whymark, always punctual and well presented. Stands at the front of the group. Does other things like shouting, clapping and moving around. Has some very nice clothes though he is probably the wrong age to be wearing them, but he insists he doesn’t give a f They are Bang up to date with Big Speakers and flashing lights and a smoke thingy bob. Performing (in their own way) an array of “Power Pop” songs from 50’s Rock & Roll through the Hip Tunes of the swinging 60’s, into the Glam Rock 70’s and Punk Rock 80’s. Including some of the least crappy songs of the 90’s and then right up to date stuff. (well almost) -

Some of the artists who have contributed to the Booze Brothers set are; The Sex Pistols, Queen, T Rex, Billy Idol, Willy Busy, Foo Fighters, Dolly Parton, The Clash, Good God Charlotte, Rush, Thin Lizzy, ZZ Topp, AA Bottom, Blink 182, The Dr.Who, Razorlight, The Frattellis, The Jam, The Ruts, Thomas the Tank Engine and loads of other bands. Go take a look and give‘em a listen, you have nothing to lose but the wax from your ears. -
