Sounds Like

Yes, the Band is HOT! Great vocals and instrumentals.

Check out the new CD: Crossing The Borders: Celtic Folk Music

Cd available in Canada in Record Stores and online at Landwash Music Distribution.

In the US, on CDBaby, Amazon.com and IndieRhythm

We don't much like comparisons, but the music is sort of 'Altanish' and 'Chieftainish' with a touch of bluegrass.

   About Crossing The Borders
Crossing the Borders first formed fifteen years ago, and over that period the Band has performed mainly in Eastern Main and Southern New Brunswick. Gordon and Sarah Phillips, originally from the North of England and now residents of Campobello Island, first collaborated with James O’neill, a fine musician and visual artist who’s background is Boston/Irish. John and Terry Viselli, with strong Italian and Irish roots, are originally from Rhode Island and now live on the East Coast, in the Bay of Fundy area. The Band performs British roots and Celtic music, with a hint of Bluegrass and Appalachian folk music.

Hi Gordon,
I've only met Shawn once at show in Moncton. Nice guy, great musician. Tuckersfield has been on the station for quite a while. Jordan Grant has a solo song on there as of yesterday too.
