LOW VOLTAGE The Very Best of The BossHoss .. .. On 8th December 2008 the curtain rose over the stage of the Admiralspalast Berlin and with this there began a new era in BossHoss history. We were witnessing the premiere of.. LOW VOLTAGE:.. The BossHoss as they have never before been seen or heard, on stage complimented by a 20 strong accompaniment of strings and horns, playing all BossHoss classics in completely new arrangements. What began with two solitary concerts, will soon be taking off in style. In April the album will be released featuring the best BossHoss songs recorded in the new.. LOW VOLTAGE ..sound..... The listener is in no way to expect another standard Best Of album in which songs already familiar have been given a slight workover and then hastily compiled... LOW VOLTAGE ..is new and very different and quite honestly, ..THE VERY BEST OF THE BOSSHOSS... 12,000 fans already enjoyed a sneak preview at an open air concert in Berlin last August and will surely testify that the great BossHoss songs, when interpreted in this acoustic fashion, gain additional lustre and achieve a whole new dynamic..... .. LOW VOLTAGE.. isn’t an introspective unplugged album, it is an explosive musical experience, played with the power we have come to expect from the boys. It is however at the same time, quite different, offering us many new facets within the music, the horns and strings enhancing the sound and bringing with them a new flair and opulence. Here we find the cowboys from Berlin in a context where they may at last reveal the true depths of their musical ability. With an ensemble of 30 musicians on stage, they develop a live sound of an intensity unimaginable for others even in the studio..... The album will be available on 16th April 2010 and included will be a bonus DVD showing the premiere ..LOW VOLTAGE.. concert, a really amazing performance which can be enjoyed over and over again. Of course this medium is only a partial substitute for real live viewing pleasure, so.. LOW VOLTAGE ..will be going on tour. .... The BossHoss will be visiting many renowned concert venues throughout Germany: from the Alten Oper in Frankfurt via the Musikhalle in Hamburg all the way to Circus Krone in Munich to name but a few of the highlights. This will be an absolute must for every BossHoss fan and it is advisable to secure tickets well in advance. Due to the elaborate nature of this production there are only a limited number of concert houses available and these venues of course do not have the huge capacity of the halls in which the boys usually perform. One thing’s for sure:.. LOW VOLTAGE.. will be the new sparkling highlight in the BossHoss story.
