Influences
All veterans of Norfolk, Va.'s rock scene, The Bottle Babies have quickly become a well received and reviewed act. Taking cues from various artist and influences, The Bottle Babies move seamlessly through styles-weaving fragments of angst with catchy bends, hooks, and riffs. Led energetically by the throat of front man Todd Owens, the band is founded on rock 'n' roll tradition, built by energy and driven by the passion to perform. The unique blend of the band's infulences fills a gut and balls niche that's indigenous and worthy of representing their musical roots. The Bottle Babies manage to capture an aggressive display of melody and unleash the power of their musicianship and unique style.
The Bottle Babies have recorded a full-length CD at the infamous Steveland Studios. Engineered by Steve Baise and The Bottle Babies, the CD will be distributed by various labels, including Black Lung Records & Get Hip.

In 2005 and 2006, THE BOTTLE BABIES WERE NAMED BEST "PUNK/ GARAGE BAND" for the Hampton Roads- Tidewater Virginia area by Nine-Volt and Potfolio Magazine(s). The band also was nominated for BEST LIVE ACT and BEST ALBUM for 2006.

THE BOTTLE BABIES supplied a much needed live round of ammo to the machine gun that is Rock n Roll. With cigarette stained, whiskey-laden vocals, punk twang guitars, a big bottom-end bass, and power-house drums, the band was cocked with a steady supply of original music. All veterans of the Norfolk, VA. music scene, this quintet’s blend of garage, punk and twang quickly made them a regional favorite.
The Bottle Babies disbanded in late 2006 but was still nominated as "Best Live Act" as well as "Best Punk Band" by Portfolio Magazine as well as other publications. Two members (Jamie and Eric) of The Bottle Babies formed The Villians while Todd, Billy and Mike formed The Trauma Dolls.
The Bottle Babies music made an impact on the local as well as regional music scene.

Come out and support the Dominion Derby Girls and FORKIDS as we put on our second annual "Silent Art Auction" on May 25th. This charity event will help to raise funds for both the Dominion Derby Girls and FORKIDS by auctioning off work by local artists of all ages. A special section of art will be reserved for children, with those proceeds going directly to FORKIDS.

The Trauma Dolls have been nominated for Portfolio Weekly's2008 Music Awards in Hampton Roads in the best Best Punk act catagory. This is equlivant to our regional/ local "Grammy" awards.
Portfolio Weekly will announced the winners at the Awards Ceremony on March 13 at the Granby Theater. The awards show starts at 7 p.m. and is free, open to the public and will be featuring performances from local bands centered around the theme: “Party like it’s 1983.”

Also, tommorrow night (Wed.) is a BIG NIGHT! The Trauma Dolls playing with skate rock legends, Agent Orange at Club Steppin' Out in Va. Beach, VA. Tickets are only $10.00 and can be bought from Scott Fleegle at Guitar Center, on-line, or at the club.
The Rats, Razor Kings, Lost Tribe will be rippin' the show up with The Trauma Dolls on Wed., so you need to c'mon out and see 5 great bands for one low price.
