Influences
Well I like eating, alot, is that an influence? I can't work on an empty stomach.
Food firstly, Preferably battered or mashed. But Im not fussy, Im a bottomfeeder, so food is scarce.
Modern toss .. width="425" height="350">..> Down and out in Paris and London, something somebody said, very minute details and insignificant things like the back of someones head Or whatever I see on my way to work. Inspiration comes from strange places sometimes. John Taverner, observing, absorbing and questioning everything. Spinal Tap, Peter Cooke and Dudley Moore, .. width="425" height="350">..>Folk who know how to have a proper good laught at themselves, Bob Dylan has alot to say for himself And Hank Williams too. I dont want to start with the huge music lists though, you might loose inerest.
This would be the ultimate venue to play at!
Ahoy there land dwellers, let us present,
An indulgent feast of bizarre wonderment,
With prurient tales of equestrian dreams,
Nothing down here is quite as it seems,
As sirens wail in scintillating robes,
The town dost gather in flocks and droves,
With dark tribal drumming and a saw that sings,
This band will rouse you with brass, lungs and strings,
So gather your fish hooks, march down to the sea,
Where cold blooded creatures are waiting for thee,
Diminish your virtues and follow your leaders,
Come join the weird world of The Bottomfeeders.

THE MEDIA
Singer Natalie has the weirdest trill we've heard since Kate Bush, and we're mad for the bonkers pop nonsense of 'Horse'. Hallelujah! Manchester is reborn." NME - Rick Martin
"Genius and insanity are close bedfellows and never was that truer than in the world of The Bottomfeeders. Impossible to pigeonhole – is it pop-goth or vaudeville-indie? – they’re the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band birthed in modern metrosexual Manchester. Love them or loathe them, you simply can’t ignore them and in achieving that, they’ve won half the battle." Chris Long Producer BBC
"The most exotic band in Manchester" Clint Boon XFM
