BOUNCE music is a real energetic style of rap/hiphop. It originated in New Orleans in the mid-eightees and became
very popular throughout the ninetees. M.C. T.TUCKER is noted as one of the early pioneers, if not it's creator. Bounce
music is characterized by a call and response with alot of chants and dance call outs. Altough Bounce carries very little lyrical value, it has incredible power to move the crowd . It is usualy used at parties,
in the clubs or anywhere people can dance and the girls can shake their ass. The beat for Bounce is usualy sampled from either
the "TRIGGAMAN" from (SHOWBOYS), "THE BROWN BEAT" from (DEREK B "ROCK THE BEAT") or THE MANNIE FRESH PRODUCED "CHEEKY BLAKK". Please don't ever underestimate the power a Bouce track can have when played
around women. It seems that as soon as they hear that beat drop, they can't resist wobblin'and shakin' their asses.
Bounce is a trademark type of music in New Orleans and it's surrounding areas and you and you can be sure to hear alot of it

who dominated the Bounce scene throughout the ninetees with artists such as DJ JUBILLEE, DA'SHA RA', KATEY RED, K.C.REDD, BIGG RAMP,
WILLIE PUCKETT and few others. IF you are looking for the new stuff there is alot of artists doing it like BLAQNMILD (BLAQBIGGIEBLAQ), 5TH WARD WEEBIE, HOTBOY RONALD, K.K., MONSTA, M.C. SHAKIE, ELM BOI PEG, GOTTY BOI CHRIS, 10TH WARD BUCK, WESTBANK ARIKE just to name a few.
