  • Bio

The Bourbonaires formed in Boston, Ma. in 1997. An integral part of the renowned Boston rockabilly explosion heard 'round the world in the mid to late'90s,along with brethren The Racketeers, and The Raging Teens. They released a full length C.D. album in 2000,and the well received '45 "That Tease" in '99.these releases cemented them into the hearts of the Rockabilly community worldwide for keeping our American music tradition alive with all new original material. After a couple of line up shifts, the band drifted apart. After the untimely death of bass man Jon Johnson sent shock waves through the community, they reformed ,for a couple shows, in his honor.they are determined now to pick up where they left off,at least occasionally. Keep your eyes out for them, who knows what the future has in store!
