The Animals, The Kinks, Stax Records, NYC, Modern culture: From past to present, music is the bridge, the one constant that connects us all and keeps us sane, especially during turbulent times.
Great grandpa, thirteen at the time, robbed a bank in Russia during their revolution early in the twentieth century. Or "looted only in order to escape," as some great aunts and uncles still like to say. He then took the money and bought himself a treacherous boat ride to Ellis island. After enduring that overcrowded and disease ridden trip across the Atlantic, he met up with his brother, already living on Orchard street. There he began selling newspapers on the Bowery.
A hundred years later, living blocks from where he first started out, the connection to him remains strong and powerful. So after putting a band of friends together out of a love for the true spirit and essence of rock n roll and souls origins, we decided to pay homage to him and other classic eras by dressing up in the city's history. A past full of various scenes where suits, fedoras, flapper girls and go go get ups would color the nightclubs and speakeasies.
In combining the Bowery Boys, a one time local gang of toughs with the Astor Riots, one of many famous fights that took place downtown, we found our name. We're the Bowery Riots: sweat and grime, music and fashion. The story is our foundation. Shows are the celebration, like rock n roll is supposed to be. Hello from the streets of New York City.

Well I am not that good a design, but I have come up with three designs, I call them designs, because t-shirt-with-your-logo-on is too long winded... Saying that the last design i just knocked out is a little more creative than the others not sure if you like it! But hey I tried... I sent them to your email address... I like this picture it makes me think of you guys!
Well I cant wait for some new songs, because the 3 I have are in danger of being played to death! I cant put my finger on why I love you guys so much! I don't if its the so retro its fresh approach that you seem to be coming from. I do like backup vocals done by women/lass' of the band. They really stand out on the track "Should I look The Other Way" which happens to be my fave track! So when you start touring will you be headlining or a guests.
