Bram Faber aka Brabe (1989) grew up in a musical family, with both parents being classical musicians. Aged five he started to play violin, at ten he took lessons in trumpet and piano as well, and at thirteen he switched from violin to viola. At present he plays viola in various classical orchestras, and from time to time he jams out with friends on trumpet and piano.

Being raised with classical music, Brabe couldn't care less about house music at first; it wasn't until his sixteenth that he started to get interested in house music, when he casually heard to some Dave Taylor and Jesse Rose tunes on the radio. He got hooked and started listening more and more house music, incidentally infecting good friend René van Munster, with whom he played in a classical orchestra, with his house fever. René van Munster had started to produce, and encouraged Brabe to do the same thing. Aged 17 they made their first EP together under the name Bootlickers, that was released on South-African Down South Music. Brabe's name got picked up quickly in the scene, soon releasing his first solo EP on German Brickhouse Records, with a remix by Oliver $.

For the tracks Brabe made so far in his early career he received support from the likes of Crookers, Don Diablo, Malente, Kissy Sellout, Bart B More, HiJack and many others.
