So you want to know a little bit about me? I have recently become a dad and now have a little boy. His name is Brayden Patrick Nix, middle name is after my fathers to keep some tradition alive. He was born December 4, 2008. That was the most magical day of my life! He amazes me more and more everyday.


My fiancee is the most influential and supportive person in my life. Without her I would be lost. Becky and I will be getting married this summer, June 20, 2009 to be exact and I know we are more than ready. I never thought I could confide and trust in anyone as much as I do her and I cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

I am a licensed Real Estate Agent. I work currently at Extraco Banks as a Relationship Banker in the Customer Care department at our corporate headquarters in Waco, I also do Sales and Marketing for S&P Premium Brands which is the exclusive wholesaler and distributor of Don Valente tequila in Texas. One of my passions is tequila. I love all things agave and could sit down and chat your ear off for hours if anyone would let me. Tequila.net is your source for everything tequila. It may be hard for some of my younger friends to beleive but good tequila is not for getting drunk and wild. Its just like a good scotch. And NO, tequila doesnt have worms in it.

Occasionaly I enjoy a hand rolled cigar outside on a calm evening while I'm relaxing, preferably my Gurkhas, Rocky Patel, Padilla and Perdomos. I like an assortment of cigars with the exception of flavored cigars (which I feel are sweetened to help make bad poor cigars taste better). I also like to "home-bartend" and entertain my friends. Grilling is a must for me, steaks, burgers, chicken...the meat doesnt matter as much as the relaxation I get! If I can combine a good cigar, fine tequila, and a grill...I'm in heaven. We also enjoy going to church, taking walks, home improvement projects, movies, basketball, anything fun and different and good live music.

  • Music

    I have a very diverse taste in music ranging in old classics, very mixed kinds of rock and metal and even electronic/trance music. Instead of a single song I created a playlist so you should be able to find something you like out of the 50 or so songs on my profile.

  • Movies

    Currently I have been expanding our movie collection. I love inspirational movies, comedies, and the occasional scary movie. Some favorites of mine include; Into The Wild, The Bourne Trilogy, Office Space, The Departed, most Quentin Tarantino movies and many more!

  • Television

    Television has been pretty boring lately. I like to keep up to date with the news and occasional TV shows but I dont like too much TV. I would rather be out having fun or being productive. I do like The Late Show, CSI, Criminal Minds, Family Guy, Weeds and others.

  • Heroes

    My grandparents are heroes. Gramps was a wonderful man with a gentle soul, I will always look up to the things he taught me. Mun and Big Daddy have done so much in there lives and have made perfect role models to exactly where I want to be in 50 years.

    Becky as shown me a lot about life and I love her so much for that. Now she is carrying our baby and with so little time left, its getting tough. She is so strong and has a wonderful heart. I am very proud of her!

    My father is also a hero. If I could be just like him, I would in a heartbeat. He has stuck by through thick and thin and never gave up on me. He is a wonderful man and I will always look up to him as a hero.
