From fedoras to moccasins, broken strings to broken hearts, Jesse’s basement to the recording studio, we present to you our MySpace. We weren’t sure if we could take on responsibility, we sometimes questioned if our talent and fame were only smoke and mirrors, and we were never sure if we could outrun the raving fans. That’s who the album is really for; the fans. It’s cliché, we get that, we know, but seriously, we four Christian, Senior guys have poured our perception of the world into this album. The fans are a part of our world, and a part of the album. And while a lot of the time was spent on the women of our world, we still always tried to make our main focus on God. If we can be serious for a moment, please get that everything we are, and everything we’ve done is not of our hands. The talent, the people, the opportunities we have, everything down to this MySpace page has been given to us by God. He is the love of our life, and the core of us desires to represent Him well on and off the stage. “Ransom” really is the one of the best descriptions of why we love God so much. Let’s face it, every one of us has sinned and earned our spot on death row. Jesus got up from Heaven, came down to this crummy rock, and took our place…willingly. His love is unfathomable, His grace is incomprehensible, and the role He plays in our life is more intricate, sincere, and has more significance than we are capable of knowing. And we can’t thank Him enough. So this is us; every track, every note, every lyric. There are overtones, undertones, sideways tones, and even a synth in the background if you listen closely. But apart from the music we hope the God stuff comes through too. He’s knocking on the door of your heart, and is waiting for you to open it. He won’t force His way in; the ball is entirely in your court. And now our music is here for your complete listening pleasure. We’re dying for you to listen to it, but Jesus died so you could. Give God a chance, He's so much better than anything you can find here. And after all, He’s the vine, we’re just the branches.
