Modern, backbeat driven, fiddle and flute driven, Celtic rock with tight vocal harmonies, instrumental diversity and a few dirty jokes. It can be sweet at times but it can also be darker, with a very driving, punchy, acoustic sound; like an edgy rock band playing on MTV unplugged. It can be more melodic than Celtic punk or hard rock but also much more rockin’ than your typical Celtic folk or acoustic pop. Songwriting is drawn from traditional Irish, modern rock, rockabilly, classical and fusion influences.

The Brazen Heads are a 5 piece Celtic rock band from Phoenix Arizona with a bawdy sort of The Pogues-meets-Christy-meets-Horslips style; performing an eclectic variety of high energy music from all over the Celtic Isles. The Heads will either get the crowd going or get kicked out trying!

Thanks for letting me know about the schedule change! Sorry I didn't make it, I had every intention of bringing all the girls on Friday night but we called into some friends at the pub in Naas for one and despite my best efforts there was no way I was getting 6 thirsty girls to leave! We had the best time in Kilkenny, it was great to see everyone!
Droppin' in 'cus I dont ever! Cant wait to hear about Ireland! Wish I were there to drink the Guinness, take a wee bit 'o photographs and enjoy your music in a more "traditional" setting.

This is the first time I've gotten to record within my brand spanking new ~ totally optimized Ashram / Asylum ~ & I must say with this updated digital recording facility & some new axes to grind ~ it is truly a luxury at it's finest ~ at least it is for me me me !!!!! So here it is ~ just a rhythm track I'd made over the last couple of days ~ in order to acclimate myself with all the new toys I now have at my disposal . . . I'll be writing lots of new lyrics as well as new music ~ for both of my upcoming projects ~ the follow-up to my debut CD now available on Moiko Records ~ it's a new concept album I've been (Ben) working on for over a year & a half ~ as well as the awesome new version of The Altruistic Messiah's latest touring band ~ a line up consisting of life long friends & a few of the most amazingly talented new individuals I have just recently had the honor to become associated with !
