2003 was when the Breathers came into existence and since that time 2 albums have been self released.Work and sleep was the first one and it was noisy ,brassy and well loved by more than several austinites,critics and various people around the world.The new record, "I'm still curious" recorded almost entirely with a new band was released may 25th of this year. So far it has been received with high praise and repeat listenings . Spacey ,moody ambient but hook laden instrumentation and vocals designed to speak to your secret self or maybe make you laugh or cry .Hard to put a time frame on it so we'll say timeless but if you like anthemic,personal songwriting. 60's soul music and rock that is honest and imaginative you'll like the breathers.
