Bottleshot is an accomplished blues/rock trio from the hills and valleys of eastern PA. They deliver high energy blues influenced music much in the same vein as the Allman Brothers, North Mississippi All Stars, Jonny Lang, and Rory Gallagher. Members of the band have been playing together since their days in school and developed their own sound over the years. They have opened for the likes of Taylor Swift, Trent Tomlinson, Little Big Town, and George Lynch.
2008 proved be a successful year for Bottleshot. Good old fashioned hard work landed them several articles in the Lehigh Valley newspapers, including being a "top ten" local band by Easton newspaper Exposed. In early December, Bottleshot competed in the Lehigh Valley Acoustic Songwriter competition. Never an acoustic act, Jay and Josh decided to give it a try while their bass player was on the road driving truck throughout the winter. In a few weeks, they had thrown together a few original acoustic songs and after a stellar performance in the competition finals, ended up winning the whole sha-bang.
Currently, Bottleshot is writing new songs and looking forward to 2010 so that they can work harder than ever. Come out to a show and hang out with us because chances are, our day at work sucked too and we're here to listen as long as you are too.
