If you want a safe, friendly and relaxed environment to enjoy a drink either on your own or with friends, then The Broadway is the place to come! Meet for a drink at The Broadway whatever the occasion - whether it's lunchtime, after work, before or after dinner, a birthday, anniversary, any excuse really............
Music
We play background music at The Broadway, so that you can sit and talk and actually hear each other! We like to play lots of timeless classics, or 'good pub music' as we like to call it, to appeal to people of all ages. And we're having speakers installed outside very shortly, so that you will be able to enjoy the mellow atmosphere outside as well!! Also, very importantly, the football fans won't miss any of the action whilst they are outside puffing away.
Movies
Come in and try our latest menu with even more Aussie style dishes to choose from. We've also got hearty winter stews and soups and a fantastic brunch section.
Television
Don't forget about the quiz on Sunday nights. We play via the internet and the whole pub plays together as one team, against all the other pubs around the country. Prize money varies from week to week, depending on how many pubs are playing. You must register before the 8pm kick off to be eligible for prize money if we win!

Heroes
Our regulars are our heroes - without them we would be nowhere!! They look after us in lots of different ways, and we do appreciate it guys, really!
If you haven't visited us yet, why not?? Here's the lowdown.........we look after both smokers and non smokers with our large front patio area, and there is a smoking shelter for the cold and wet weather. Jay and Wendy have brought their Aussie influence to the pub to give it a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, and with our Aussie staff you're always guaranteed an interesting conversation. There are two pool tables and a dart board. We have two cask ales on sale - the very popular Black Sheep Bitter and Courage Directors, and they will always be in tip top condition as Jayson has Casque Mark accreditation. Have a look at our wine list and compare our prices - we sell good quality wines at very reasonable prices. We don't believe in over charging just because it's possible!
Our menu will soon be changing slightly to accomodate some summery style dishes. The breakfast/brunch menu is staying and we are now open at 10am on the weekends - so if you love omelettes, scrambled eggs or eggs benedict, then you know where to come! We are also now doing Sunday Roasts; great value at £7.95 for a choice of lamb, beef or pork with roast potatoes, veggies, yorkshire puddings and Jayson's fabulous home made gravy. Families are always welcome at the Broadway, and there is a Childrens Menu available - just ask at the bar.
Have you tried an 'Aussie Burger with the Lot' yet,or one of Jayson's famous home-made Oz style meat pies? Perfect to eat while watching the football, or any sport for that matter.
We have a big screen in the back bar area now, so you can watch all of the European football action live on two big screens!
Wii nights have now started (and it's lots of fun), on the back big screen, on Monday and Thursday nights. So bring your friends along for a laugh and challenge them to tennis, bowling, baseball, golf or boxing.
