Combine great pop/rock songs with incredible live performances and
you've got The Brodys, a band that has had Northern California buzzing
for more than 10 years.
Best known for the regional hit "Toss," which spent nearly a month as
the most-requested song at Sacramento's KWOD 106.5 FM, The Brodys also
have appeared on the international stage with four songs in the MTV series,
"Undergrads," which recently was released on DVD. Characters in the animated series were seen rocking to "Toss," "Flamingo Motel," "Cheerleader" and "Religious Girls."
Last year, The Brodys released their fifth CD, "Stuck," adding another
entry to their pop/rock chronicles of high school misfits, lost
opportunities and loud music.
While past CDs have received wide acclaim -- "Goody Goody" was described
by The Sacramento Bee as "a buzzing, melodic, wholly polished recording
that sounds more like a major-label album than the self-released effort
that it is" -- much of the band's popularity has been built on the
strength of its live performances.
Front man Tony Brusca (lead vocals/guitar) brings energy, passion and
fun to the stage, backed by the power of Ace Kapoor (guitar/backing
vocals), Chris Chaussee (guitar/backing vocals), Troy Hook (bass/backing
vocals) and Dave Kline (drums).
In addition to headlining shows on the club circuit from Los Angeles to
San Francisco, The Brodys have opened for touring bands including
matchbox 20, Lit, Smash Mouth, Orgy, Foo Fighters and Cake.

Hello! Thanks to everyone who came out to the G st last Friday! I had a rocking good time.
Anyone interested, my side band "The Nickel Slots" will be having our first show this upcoming THURSDAY, MAY 29th at Old Ironsides (we play at 9 PM)! If you like Corn Whiskey, The Show, That Song....you'll probably dig The Nickel Slots! Thanks!
Just wanted to let you boys know that the G St show last night rocked! It rocked so hard that my little I <3 The Brodys pin fell off. :( So I need to get a new one next time I see you! Keep up the good work.
man, i got a double-dose of bad timing! this saturday i'm taking the cset (all gazillion hours of it), so i don't really see myself being able to go see you guys. and then i'm going to visit my family in so cal for memorial day weekend, which'll mean missing 2x the brodys goodness.
hey tony this is jenny kennedy daughter i haven't seen you guys since i was 7 years old and i can 't wait to see you guys again. i still remember you playing at my preschool and doug was there!
last night was a lot of fun tony. seeing you in a smaller setting, doing something a little different was great. enjoy your weekend (and if you're rocking picnic day, jon is manning the horse sex show out at the breeding facility at 1:30 ;p)
Unfortunately, we don't have a St. Patrick's Day show this year, but I think it's safe to assume that we'll be hitting some local establishments to enjoy some green beer and (more importantly) Irish whiskey.
boys, i am starting to become concerned - there's no show listing up for st. patty's day yet... does that mean my boozin' day will have to go down without you? that would be a sad prospect.
on a happier note, the weekend's inching closer. enjoy your day :)
I miss you so much that I changed my default photo to one of the MANY super fun times we've had together.
Oh yeah - I'm pretty sure your birthday present is STILL in the backseat of my car. I suck. Seriously bad. It'll get there soon. Maybe I'll just bring it with me in JUNE when I come down there! :)
hey guys - you looked and sounded great. it was so damn good to see you last night. please keep us in the loop! xxoo joe and lesa (btw mark down 2/29 joe and i will be going to the punchline to see bill burr.come have a drink with us if you can get out!)
Hey Matt! Thanks for the post! That was a cool night...I love playing that song. The dark grainy video actually looks cool...no one needs to see me clearly anyway! Thanks for supporting us for so many years. T-Brody
You guys rocked the G St once again. I brought a newbie out and she loved the show, especially how you handled the blown fuse and your rendition of Afternoon Delight. She'll be coming out again fo sho'
Hey, guys, looking forward to the show tonight!!! I was wondering if you'd be playing "Weekend Alcoholic" tonight... That song will definitely be describing me and the entourage of GI Juggs, my brother and a crew of other associated friends. :-)
