    *** BIO *** Con solo 8 años tras sus espaldas The Broken Toys ha logrado posicionarse como unos de los referentes mas convocantes y activos del creciente circuito de rock n roll vintage Argentino. Logrando no solo imponer su estilo en su ciudad de origen Rosario (Santa Fe) sino también presentarse regularmente en Buenos Aires y en la mayoría de las grandes ciudades del país e incluso hacer visitas a Chile, Brasil y Canadá. Formados en Rosario (Santa Fe) con la idea de tocar Rockabilly han logrado aportar tanto a sus composiciones, como a los clásicos que versionan, la fuerte influencia de diversos estilos, sumando a esto, sobredosis de energía y actitud propias del Punk Rock, punto de partida para buena parte de los integrantes del grupo. The Broken Toys se la juega con una combinación de rockabilly, swing, country y punk, y sale muy bien parado, consolidándose como una banda con personalidad propia y combinando clichés estilísticos con excelente gusto. Con 2 discos en sus manos “NOCHES Y PECADOS” en 2005 y “DEL LADO EQUIVOCADO”, a fines del 2008, editados Scatter Rec. Disco a disco la banda amplia aun más el espectro de estilos que la banda interpreta para acompañar relatos donde abundan andanzas por el mal camino de la vida, el mal de amores y la mala suerte. The Broken Toys.. es uno de los combos más originales que haya parido el territorio Argentino; un cantante que tiene la impronta rocker tatuada en sus cuerdas vocales, secundado por músicos que conocen al dedillo el ABC de los genero que interpretan, y una sección de vientos que te hará perder la compostura. En sus shows se rompen corazones y se sacuden los pies hasta el hartazgo, estos chicos de elegantes trajes y altos peinados tienen todo lo que necesitas para una noche salvaje en compañía del mejor y mas salvaje Rock N' Roll de antaño. No hay excusa que valga..... ..DANCE OR DIE!! *** BIO *** With only 8 years behind their backs, The Broken Toys have managed to place themselves on the spotlight of the local music scene as one of the most referenced, active, crowd-gathering and influential bands in the Argentinian vintage rock and roll circuit. They formed in their hometown, Rosario (Santa Fe), mainly with the idea of playing Rockabilly to then start injecting their different influences and styles. What they created is a true eclectic musical overdose, filled with the raw energy and attitude of their Punk Rock roots and most rocking elements from Swing, Jazz, etc. Only a handfull of groundbreaking performances (playing in any place available, either in Rosario or Buenos Aires, that could hold their explosive shows) were enough to let everyone in the scene know what these 6 guys could do on stage. During 2003 and 2004, the band recorded their first demo tapes, achieving a spot in several international compilations such as “Rockin’ All Over The World” (BHR – Brasil) and “Ataque Rockabilly Vol II” (Esquilo Rec – México). By the end of 2005 they present their debut CD called “..NOCHES & PECADOS..” (nights and sins). This jewel was co-edited by Scatter Rec. And Basstard. Co. and it contains 14 original songs and an excellent version of ..American Nightmare (Misfits)... The Broken Toys rolled the dice on a gamble that not everyone could win: rockabilly heart, country soul, early punk rock body and swinging tunes. They not only won: they also came out triumphant as a band with a unique personality and a combination of “style clichés” done with excellent taste. A new musical powerhouse. Now with a hot record on their hands, the band has started looking for new lands to conquer. They not only started playing even more often in Rosario and Buenos Aires, but also in the biggest cities around the country, Chile and Brazil. Plus, they have been hosting each edition of the “Rosario Burning” and have also played in the seventh edition of the “B.A Stomp” in 2006. 2008 was almost over when The Broken Toys struck again with “..DEL LADO EQUIVOCADO..” (on the wrong side), edited once again by Scatter Rec. This new and exciting record explores deeper all the styles they have grown to love and play so much, expands their musical horizons and turns up the energy a few more infernal notches. Through all the 13 songs, the band takes you on a thrilling ride tales of bad luck, bad romance and being “on the wrong side” of it all: meant in the most devilish though charming way. Once again, they pulled their unique blend on another outstanding record. The Broken Toys.. is one of the most original combos ever spawned on Argentinian soil: a singer with rocked roughness tattooed in his vocal cords, followed by some of the most skilled and fierce strings in the genre and a wind ensemble that will literally blow you away. Hearts get broken and foot get-a rocking until exhaustion in each of their shows. Six fine gentlemen in fancy suits and tall hairdos have all that is needed for a wild night of pure vintage Rock N Roll mayhem. No more excuses... ..DANCE OR DIE!!!
