About me:
Apply today! Our annual Brower Youth Awards honor six young people for their outstanding activism and achievements in the fields of environmental and social justice advocacy. Each winner is awarded $3000 and brought to San Francisco for a ceremony, a week of media and outreach, and a camping trip.

The Brower Youth Awards not only promote the accomplishments of these young leaders but also invest in their continued success by providing ongoing access to resources, mentors, and opportunities to develop their leadership skills through Earth Island Institute's New Leaders Initiative.

Check out videos, photos, and award information online at www.broweryouthawards.org!

Agents of Change

Calling Young Climate Advocates!

The SustainUS Agents of Change program is now accepting applications for its delegation to the UN Climate Negotiations, COP13, happening in Bali this December. COP13 will determine the future of international policy on climate change, and youth must make their voices heard. The SustainUS delegation, comprised of key leaders in the youth climate movement, will have the unique opportunity to represent American youth at the COP. Delegates will work with each other and with international youth in advance of the conference to educate themselves, develop policy priorities, acquire skills in effective lobbying, and engage the broader youth population in a conversation about international climate policy.

Please download the application to learn more about this amazing opportunity: http://sustainus.org/images/stories/aoc/2007/COP/cop13_application.pdf
