DISCOGRAPHY - All CDs on sale at the Bus Stop in Pitman. If you'd like one mailed to you please send us a message.
Mostly Live at the Bus Stop
Just what the title says. A collection of live recordings from open mics and shows at the Bus Stop, including two studio tracks. Includes "Wet Train," "No One Here" and "Jimmy."
Walk Down the Street
Mostly a solo project for Steve with the full band on two of the tracks ("Walk Down the Street" and "Like to Marry.") Also includes "Joanna" and "The Alarm."
Movie Star Girl
A true band CD, with everyone involved in both the songwriting and instrumentation. Noise jams, rock and roll, country, quiet acoustic numbers and even a classical piece help make this the most varied Brownies CD yet. Includes "Ol' Freeway," "Apple on My Tree," and "Fled to Reno."
Money and Power
This one is mostly Steve again, but there's a little more layering going on this time. A showtune, a mock-jazz standard and an a capella number join the folk rockers here to keep things spicy. Fran even gives the lead vocal for a cover of "Money." Also includes "Would You Mind," "Fairy Godmother," "Nancy" and "Francine."
our new album, "best excuses", has been uploaded on www.yearlongday.com. thank you for patiently waiting to hear it, and stay tuned for the official cd release!
4 Friday in Pitman may 22 2009 Steve & Franny will be playing after at the freedom house at 9:30 pm with Gootch and the pitmen band come join us in making a video
Hey fellas! Our guitarist Dan got into a bad car accident on the 28th of Febuary and couldn't even move his wrist or shoulder. He's feeling up to playing now so we should be out at the Bus Stop tomorrow night. C ya'll there!
looks like you'll be playing the bus stop a week before us! maybe we can catch each others' gig.
if you can scrounge up some extra cash (hard to come by these days), maybe you can come see us at the tin angel in march. it's one of those gigs when audience turn-out is REALLY important. if you can't make it, please tell a friend.
Great show on Friday! That new Ibanez is pretty amazing. So glad Fran played harmonica, too. I think it's a great trio when you, Christopher, and Fran get to play the Blues.
Good to have you as a friend! So great to see the internet in action this way, shortening distances between people.
