I'm Alejandro and I was born in in La Piedad, Michoacán México. I'm very in touch with my Hispanic roots, so yes I speak Spanish.
I graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Media Studies, with an emphasis in Print. I'm looking to become a sportswriter in the future, with my dream job being a sports reporter at ESPN Deportes.
I have decided to continue with my studies in Mexico at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, better known as U.N.A.M. I will be attending there come 2010 and earn a graduate degree in communications.
I'm a HUGE sports freak and have been playing sports for the past 18 years. I've done cross country, track, basketball, soccer, football, swimming, and rock climbing. Currently I am playing soccer for a team called Club Deportivo Pumas as a center defensive midfielder. I also belong to the Las Vegas Running team and compete in local 5Ks. Let's face it I am natural born athlete ;)
I'm known to be extremely goal oriented. I blame my highly competitive nature...I don't like to loose and cannot stand failure. I ALWAYS win...no matter what :)
I consider myself to be a realist and tend to be extremely analytical...even over little things. I think that is the journalist in me.
I love to write and will write about anything at anytime. It often soothes me and brings me zen. As long as I have a pen and paper I am set. Although my best work is related to sports since I am a glued to ESPN 24/7 365. I would also like to publish a story one day that is based on my life's experiences.
I love to laugh and I am notorious for doing it at random times. I have developed a reputation for being random as well as spontaneous to things...SHASTA! For this same reason I am quite easily amused and it has NOTHING to do with the fact I have A.D.D. (no really I do have it).
In case you hadn't noticed I am in love with the "3 dots" and I use them all the time...like now. As well as the phrase "uber mega epically awesome/fail."
I have a son...his name is Cookie and he's my stinkers! Actualy no he's a cat but he may as well be my son. Although I will say that my cat is so uber mega epically awesome that he knows how to play soccer. He even has a uniform from the Mexican national team which he wears on game day. You'll see him on the field one day watch!
I am a DEVOUT fan the Mexican national soccer team. I never miss a game and I plan my day around the games to make sure I am home in time to watch them.
I'm a die-hard 49ers fan. The other teams I root passionately for are The Phoenix Suns, Anaheim Ducks, Atlanta Braves, UNLV and Duke Basketball.
I'm also a soccer junkie and never miss any of the FC Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven, Vfb Stuttgart and Arsenal games in order to support some of my favorite players who play on those teams. I also follow my home-state's soccer team Monarcas Morelia.

I'm an avid fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt...in case you had not seen that by now. I own most of her movies and have a lot of memorabilia on her.
I'm an only child and as great as that sounds trust me it's not...the pressure sucks but I have learned to cope with it.
My favorite dishes are Mexican and Italian dishes, however I am not picky, as long as it smells good I'll eat it. Just as long as it doesn't contain onions since bad things seem to happen to me when I consume them in large quantities.
I don't drink alcohol for several reasons but I will say most important reason is that I want to be in great shape, let's be honest it's very hard to be a multi-sport athlete and drink the pale ale. The rest are personal and that's all you need to know.
I still watch cartoons...especially Spongebob. Although I am fan of Looney Tunes as well as Tom and Jerry...I am destined to be a kid at heart no matter what.
I am perhaps one the most honest persons you will ever meet. I don't like being lied to so I refrain from lying to others.

Soy una persona que a cada rato me estoy riendo sobre tonteras que aveces me rio de nada. Aparte de eso soy extremadamente espontanio y no tiene nada que ver que tengo A.D.D. (no enserio...no creas que es broma).

Mi comida favorita es la Mexicana y Italiana. En si como de lo que sea nomas que no tenga cebolla porque cuando como demasiada cebolla me cae mal...en si tengo una allergia a la cebolla cuando la como en cantidades grandes.
No tomo alcohol y tengo varias razones. La mas importante que como atleta creo yo que es muy dificil mantenerce en un buen nivel deportivo y a la misma vez andar tomando. Las otras razones son personales y eso es lo unico que tienes que saber.

我想認識： People that are genuine and down to earth. I'm sick and tired of meeting people who lack substance or ambition to get ahead in life. I want to meet people who are interested in maintaining a true friendship and not those who want to fill time. People that will understand me for who I am and respect my values and beliefs and not judge me for them.
I'd also love to meet more Hispanic people so I can get to speak Spanish more :) but more importantly have more people to play soccer with as well as discuss it. (I told you I was a soccer junkie!)
Gente que valga la pena y que no sea creida. Estoy super cansado de conocer personas que no tienen niguna ambicion para salir adelante. Quiero conocer personas que de verdad quieran tener una amistad sincera y honesta y que no me van a usar para llenar el tiempo. Gente que no me va jusgar por mis valores o mis morales.
Tambien me gustaria conocer mas hispanos para poder hablar mas español de lo que hablo :) Y asi tambien para conocer mas gente que le gusta jugar futbol y platicar sobre futbol.
