as of now, andrew quackenbush is helping me with some instrumentation for the upcoming ep.
some other people will be offering their talents on some upcoming things.
Influences
some music that i listen to includes but is not limited to:
mewithoutYou, iron & wine, cold war kids, the velvet teen, menomena, built to spill, derek webb, radiohead, the everybodyfields, explosions in the sky, mogwai, sufjan, pedro the lion, the fire theft, grizzly bear, arcade fire, feist, broken social scene, mogwai, thrice, bon iver, modest mouse, the avett brothers, beck, rich mullins, elliot smith, fall out boy, that one song by the darkness, geology, fleet foxes, flobots, m. ward, and many others.
i don't really sound like any of them.
Sounds Like
breath moving through the tarnished brass of a weathered instrument.
let's sing together.
an epic clash between second best and deep-seeded hope, always yelling about something when not quiet. never the teacher's pet but always getting homework turned in on time, yet somehow barely scraping by on the marks. a cry for change wrapped in a wet blanket. an electric storm connected to an ipod charger. a fire in the trees.
