Fueled on a daily diet of Blue Kangaroo carcass, Australian Rock n' Roll Warriors BugGiRL deliver a brand of rock that cracks through the burnt earth of their barren homeland. Following the dusty footsteps of their Rockin' Ancestors AC/DC and Rose Tattoo, BugGiRL are a band of attitude, guts and glory.

Recently signed to rock-solid label Impedance Records (boasting Australian releases for Airbourne, Supersuckers, Eagles Of Death Metal, New Christs, Nick Oliveri, Winnebago Deal and more), a new EP is scheduled for release in July 09. The EP "Blood, Sweat and Beers" (produced by Mark Opitz - legend behind AC/DCs "Let There Be Rock" and "Powerage") are 5 road-burning tracks of guitars, cars, brawls, long-hauls, bras & bars.

With a definite AC/DC influence, the duo’s sound also fires off comparisons to Motorhead, Deep Purple, KISS and Motley Crue. Pretty solid acclaim most 4-piece bands would be proud of...

• CLASSIC ROCK Magazine November 2008 featured BugGiRL in print and CD as an AC/DC "TNT Dynamite New Music" Artist. Also featured are Airbourne, The Datsuns, The Donnas, Rose Tattoo, Stone Gods, Saxon, Krokus and more. BugGiRL were recently featured alongside Wolfmother, Paul Mac and The Presets on 2006s Kooky 10 Compilation.

• An EP was recorded in 2005 by Al Wright, who has worked with INXS, Cold Chisel, Divinyls, Hoodoo Gurus, The Angels, Rose Tattoo, and RATT among many others. BugGiRL finished 2005 touring UK, EU & USA, with a highlight show at New Yorks legendary CBGB.
